“a world with your wound in it”

A fusion of performance and film:
Through migrant perspectives, experimental sound design, harp, choral voices, and physical expression, a reflection on belonging unfolds.

This piece creates a tangibility of the diasporic experience. Vulnerability as mantra, identity as ritual and hope as a map, six performers, each rooted in different parts of the globe, inscribe their stories into the performative space. Entanglements of geopolitical framings and notions of opacity establish a foundation for continuous negotiations. In their intersections we may find a collective harmony (the search for faith in a greater force)revealed in the shared essence of the human experience.
